In his play "Erasmus Montanus" norwegian-danish playwright Ludvig Holberg lets the protagonist draw this "logical" line of reasoning: "A stone cannot fly, Mor Nille cannot fly, Ergo; Mor Nille is a stone". Carl I Hagens draws a similar line of logic: "The Climate in Norway was rather warm even in the Viking Times, though at that time nobody was driving around in SUVs. Ergo: Driving of cars can not lead to warmer climate." ; Since we now anyway has got an elephant in the system of this web site, we might as well check a couple of other ways to explain that it is not here, in spite of the fact that it is here. |
